An afternoon out

The other day my sister and brother-in-law had the FABULOUS idea to head up a canyon and cook our tinfoil dinners (My family always called them hobo dinners. Anyone else?). It was one of the few nice days we've had up here, so it was great to get away and enjoy the weather. Oh, I LOVE summer!

Delicious dinner! I added some cheese to the mixture and it turned out quite tasty :)

The cutest little guy and his awesome mother :)

You couldn't be biased on the cutest little guy and his awesome mom, could you?! That was a great night! We will have to make it a tradition!

Looks like FUN! Yeah, we were hobo dinner kinda people growing up too! Our YW did these last week on a bbq for one of their girls camp cooking things. They kept giving me a hard time about being a hobo, city girls! I told them only a sissy used a bbq to cook hobo dinners! They did add a little cream of mushroom soup to the mix and it was pretty tasty, just an idea if you do it again!

Wish we could have been there! And I do agree on the cutest little man and his awesome mom!!! And I called them hobo dinners as a little one. I think that it goes back to the depression and the hobo's that rode the rails! Or not! It sounds good anyway!
