Snow shoeing has always seemed like some obscure Alaskan/Swedish sport to me, so I never visualized myself strapping on the huge-flat shoes and heading on out. But, this is where I found myself this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining and the temperature at a lovely 40 degrees. We set off and trudged around for 3 or 4 hours..... I really did have a lot of fun, but I have decided I don't have any Alaskan/Swedish blood in me ;)
